I bought the Black Mat PRO 85" and the extra large eQua Towel. The combo is outstanding. I sweat buckets during yoga and I never slip any more. Even when I am doing hot yoga and the towel is finally soaked at the end of class, it still never moves and my asanas are rock-solid. I can finally move through my vinyasas without worrying about slipping or my base of support. Thanks for making such a great product - it has really enhanced my practice!

The eQua Towel is the best piece of equipment, especially its texture; when it comes to the actual moment of the legs swinging through if there is a bit of drag. It shrunk a bit after washing, but it retained its feel and works well.

We checked out the eQua Towel design and coloring is very cool & stylish! It doesn't move on yoga mat.

Many people like eQua Towels for traveling, because than they can rent a mat and put their towel on it

I absolutely LOVE my Manduka Black Mat PRO and eQua towel.  I practice Bikram yoga regularly and can't imagine using any other mat!  The mat is thick and firm and supports me in all of my poses.  My towel provides a no slip surface that absorbs all of my sweat.  Thanks for your amazing products.  I’ll never use anything but Manduka!

I bought the standard black mat and eQua towel about 10 months ago and love them both. The mat is very supportive and the towel is very, very comfy and efffective. I never slip. I am in the process of buying a second towel so I will have a clean towel for every practice.

I love this mat towel! Per previous review, it's true that it works much better on the Manduka mat. I went to my hot vinyasa class last night (with sneak peak to students new to Ashtanga), where I sweat profusely, tried the eQua Mat Towel for the first time, and the towel didn't even budge. Thank you for this wonderful creation! I'm going to be changing out my gear and buying more Manduka eQua Mat Towel!

I love my eQua towel. I generally practice hot yoga and first purchased the eQua hot towel. I do love that one, its so soft and cushy, but I am finding that the regular towel is better suited for my needs. In combination with my PROLite mat, I have a slip free and hygienic surface that I feel confident on. With the regular eQua there is no bunching or movement from the towel at all, which I do find to happen with the hot towel and with my Yogitoes towel. It is absorbent (and I unfortunately sweat a lot, it stands up to that), soft, and the colors are great. Will be purchasing more so I always have a fresh one.

I use this towel with my Black Mat Pro for heated power yoga classes. It has a soft feel and stays firmly connected to the mat without wrinkling or bunching up. Provides a wonderful no slip surface when things get sweaty. Allows you to focus on the poses and not on slipping and sliding. Washes and dries in the dryer beautifully. I'm sure this towel would be perfect for hot yoga classes as well, but I use the eQua HOT towel for that because I love the extra cushion and comfort. I wouldn't recommend the eQua HOT for power classes though because it doesn't have the same firm connection to the mat that is so important while flowing. After using the yogitoes for over a year before finding and trying the Manduka towels, I highly recommend both the standard and hot towel over yogitoes.

I recently started doing hot yoga this January 2011. I just purchased this towel and it is awesome paired with my Black Mat Pro!!! It did not move or bunch up! The texture feels velvety smooth but not slippery. This is a superb towel and well worth the money! I will be buying more!

I was pleasantly surprised by this towel. I have using another yoga towel with rubber grips on the back. This towel does not have the grips on the back but it stays in place better than my other towel. It feels great under foot. Another plus is the color does not bleed. I can toss all my eQua towels in the wash together.

I love this towel! After trying other hot yoga mat towels with the traction nubs, I bought this one and it's so much better for hot yoga classes. It doesn't slip or bunch, it's super absorbant, and the colors dont' bleed in the wash (or on my hands!). Just bought more - I'm very happy with these mat towels.

i sweat like a madwoman when i practice. it's ridiculous (and embarrassing, the little droplets that collect on my sticky mat) and i didn't even realize how much my instability on the mat was compromising my practice. until i tried this towel.

i had always dreaded down dog because i could never get comfortable or spend much time in the posture because my hands constantly sliding away from me. now that I’ve got some real traction, i have found my alignment coming together, i realize all the muscles that i was never able to engage in the posture, and i can actually play around without first coming down to dry my sweaty hands! my knees aren't slipping apart in camel pose, my wheels are much more secure, and i cannot express how nice it is to come down from a headstand and NOT look at the puddle of sweat from my clasped hands before settling into child's pose!!

i have used cotton mats religiously in the past, but they ruin if they don't dry thoroughly between uses. a year of travel in Guatemala destroyed mine. so i stubbornly suffered through a year of practice without an absorbent mat, thinking 'if so many people can get by without one, then, by golly, so can i!' well, i was wrong. this towel is just exactly what i needed.

If you are thinking about buying this towel but are hesitant for any reason, DON'T BE!! JUST DO IT! This is a superior, high-quality towel unlike any you'll find at Target or the grocery store or your local holisitc store. It's super absorbant, dries instantly and retains it's shape and quality. As soon as I air it out after a practice odors dissipate quickly. I find that I need to wash it about 1x per week depending upon the use it gets (I usually do at least 4 hot classes per wk). I love this towel so much and never have to worry about how it's going to come out from the wash. I just throw it in with some mild detergent, NO softener, cold water & line dry. PERFECT every time! and oh so easy! I wash my towel, not my mat!

This is the best yoga mat towel I have used. I practice Ashtanga, & this towel stays in pace & absorbs so quickly. It is important to use this while slightly damp to minimize any slipping. This also fits the mat perfectly & does not shrink in the dryer. I own 3 of them so I can always have one in my daily practice.

I used my new towel for the first time in a very hot, power yoga class. Getting compliments as I rolled it out...but when it came down to my actual practice, all I can say is it was amazing! My hands were planted firm in down dog, and just like other reviews, I could feel my body going into correct alignment for the first time. It doesn't feel like any towel I've ever seen, and I can't really explain it, soft, but it really has this non slip feel to it. It doesn't snag on your skin or get caught. When I got home, it definitely needed a washing and that always makes me nervous. New clothes, new towels, never feel the same after the first wash...this? Perfect! Just like new. Love!!

I just received the eQua mat towel in Pop for my birthday and I am absolutely in love with it! When paired with my Manduka Prolite mat it's a dream! Absolutely no slippage which was my biggest concern. The color is beautiful and I am rock solid all hour and a half long. I can't recommend this towel enough, especially if you are finding that you tend to slip a lot during your practice.

Just purchased this and took it to a power flow class this morning. The towel mat is sooooo soft and fluffy, I was initially worried I'd slide all over it (like how I do with another mat towel that has rubbery bigs on the back). I started off folding down the towel mat a bit so that I could place my hands and feet on the mat, just as the class was starting. After that I unfolded the whole mat and used it. Awesome stuff!! There was no slipping or sliding! Love it and want to get another one. The colors are so pretty too.

I have a problem with slippery feet and hands in my yoga classes. I bought the Brillant eQua yoga mat towel and used it for the first time yesterday in class and I have to say, it's completely going to change my practice! I LOVE it! I used to have to concentrate on not slipping in the poses, and that caused me to not try jump forwards, arm balances, inversions, etc for fear of slipping. I did not slip once in class and the towel held well to my mat throughout the whole practice, I did not have to adjust it at all. I have a manduka mat that I practice on and the two items go great together, I am intrigued to see where this towel will take my practice!
